Almond Bars

baking powder

packed brown sugar

cup
melted butter

tsp
vanilla

chocolate chips
10-12 oz

cup
slivered almonds
Instructions
Mix flour with baking powder and salt. Beat eggs well; stir in sugar, butter and vanilla. Blend in flour mixture.
Add 1 cup of the chips and 1/2 cup of the nuts. Spread evenly in a greased 13×9 baking pan.
Sprinkle with remaining chips and nuts. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Cool slightly and cut into bars.
