Ingredients

peeled chopped tart apples
(I use Ida Reds)

cup
Brown sugar
(I use Splenda Brown Sugar)

cinnamon

tsp
fresh ground nutmeg
1/2
cup
water
Instructions
Combine in a heavy saucepan and cook over med heat to desired texture (about 25 minutes to chunky stage). Cool.
