This is one of my mother’s recipes.  I’m going to try to put as many on here as I can.  My mother was a rare breed. She could both cook and bake like a pro. Yes her food was homegrown comfort food. But it was so incredibly delicious.

I have tweaked this recipe very slightly and where it says make extra dough I didn’t. I just used a smaller pan
