Toffee Bars
These taste more like candy than cookies. And sooo easy to make.
Ingredients

butter

cup
brown sugar packed
1
egg yolk
1
tsp
vanilla
2
cups
flour
1/4
tsp
salt
2
bar
milk chocolate bar
(3.5 oz)
1/2
cup
pecans
chopped
Instructions
Heat oven to 350°. Grease 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Mix thoroughly butter, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla. Blend in flour and salt.
Press evenly in bottom of pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until very light brown. Remove from oven;
immediately place separated pieces on chocolate candy on crust. As soon as chocolate is soft, spread evenly. Sprinkle with nuts. Cut into bars.
