Sugar Cookies
Although these always remind me of Christmas, sugar cookies can be made anytime of the year!

Ingredients

shortening
(part butter softened)

sugar

vanilla

flour

baking powder

tsp
salt
Instructions
Mix shortening, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
Blend in flour,baking powder, and salt. Cover and chill at least 1 hour.
Heat oven to 400°. Roll dough 1/8 inch thick on lightly floured board. Cut into desired shapes.
Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 4-6 minutes or until very light brown. Frost as the mood hits you!!
