Ingredients

ground sweet or spicy Italian sausage (We prefer spicy. Note: If you can only find sausage links, remove the casing before cooking.)

jar of pasta sauce

cannellini beans, drained and rinsed

frozen chopped spinach
1/2

carrots (about 4 large carrots), peeled and chopped into bite-sized pieces

yellow onion, diced (about one cup)

chicken broth

italian seasoning
salt and pepper

red pepper flakes
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a gallon size freezer bag. Add the sausage last so it goes into the crockpot first. Freeze flat.
To cook: thaw overnight in the refrigerator. Cook for 5 hours on low. Serve over cooked pasta.
