- 2 cans chick peas, drained with liquid reserved
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- juice from 2 lemons
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 2 tbs hot sauce
- 2-3 tbs reserved chick pea liquid
- 1/2 cup toasted pine nuts
- Put all the ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Other flavors to add; olives, roasted peppers, artichokes, roasted garlic...
- Serve with veggies or pita chips
