Ingredients
- 1/4 cup 1 cup butter
- 4 oz unsweetened chocolate
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts optional
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 eggs
- powdered sugar

Instructions
- Melt the butter and chocolate together. Set aside to cool.
- Mix the remaining ingredients except the powdered sugar.
- Add the chocolate mixture.
- Chill 30 min.
- Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in powdered sugar.
- Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 15 min. or until edges are set.
