Ingredients
- 3/4 cups shortening (half butter)
- 3/4 cups confectioner sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans chopped
- 1/2 cup coconut
Icing:
- 1 1/2 cups confectioner sugar
- 2 tbsp butter melted
- 3 tbsp orange juice
- 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions
- Heat oven to 350°. Cream shortening and confectioner sugar. Blend in 1 1/2 cups flour.
- Press evenly in bottom of ungreased 9x13x2 inch baking pan. Bake 12-15 minutes. Mix remaining ingredients; spread over hot baked layer and bake 20 minutes longer.
- Combine icing ingredients and spread over warm bars. Cool; cut into bars 3x1 inch.
